Pumpkin Decorated Cookies {Easy Picture Tutorial}

Fall is in the air and I am LOVING it!! The leaves are starting to change here in DC and it is easily my favorite time of year. Plus fall means cookies.. so that's good. 

Because I promised to do a tutorial but haven't gotten around to it, I did a easy picture tutorial for you guys. This was an order for a Gender reveal party announcing the gender of their little 'pumpkin' (such a cute idea)! Her colors were gray, yellow and blue.

Painted Cookies {baby announcement}

So,  I've only done a few painted cookies (my first set here), and I was so happy to do an order of all painted cookies! I really want to start painting more, it's fun and its also SOOO nice because you only have to make white royal icing instead of 10 different colors!! Woot woot, I was sure happy about that!

These were for a women who is having her third baby and wanted to announce it to her husband in a fun way. Such a great idea!!

Of course a cookie with a painted stork, this was my faveee!

I'm a dummy and didn't get a picture of this entire cookie, BUUUT it said "& Then There Were 3"

Father's Day Cookies {Mr. Mom}

During May, I took a few summer classes while my husband watched the boys, did all the laundry, cooked and cleaned. So, it was only fitting that I make him these Mr. Mom cookies. 

The arm was my favorite.

My husband made a really good mother while I was in school (he can cook and bake like it's nobodies business). So here's to Tyler, Happy Father's Day! 

Little Girl Birthday Cookies

I made these for a best friend of mine who has done so much for me I can't even begin to explain. Her sweet little girl turned two. 

I've seen lots of ombre lately (hair, clothes, cakes..), so I decided to do ombre cookies! In pink of course. What little girl doesn't love pink?!

Baby Blue Baby Shower

It's baby time! My aunt Jane is having her first baby at the end of August. While she was in Utah we threw her a baby shower. Since I was a little girl, I have always been a party planning nerd. Seriously, whenever it was someone's birthday in the fam I was always the one planning and making my mom or dad go to the store and buy all the food and decorations, so I could create the perfect party. As soon as a birthday was over, I'd be thinking of the many ways I could decorate and plan for the next one (you may think I'm kidding but I'm not). 

For this shower I had the privilege of decorating and doing a dessert table. For the cookies I wanted something different than a plain rocking horse, so I did some funky little brown, green and silver zebra rocking horses. I loved the way everything turned out! Now you will notice the pictures are amazing, seriously they are perfect, only thanks to Julie who is an incredible photographer (check her out here). 

This makes me want a new camera SO bad! Of course, I could never make anything look nearly as beautiful as Julie does. (She also took pictures of my little boy.. I'm in love)

I loved creating this dessert table, it is something I can always get excited about! Now I must go, so I can start planning my next party ;) (but seriously).

Sweet Baby Boy

I made these for a friend who just had her third baby boy! I got the elephant idea from my little boy's bouncer seat that has elephants on it. They were so much fun to make.. welcome to the world baby B!
