These babies were sent out to California this morning as a Hanukkah gift from daughter to mother.

Paisley Mehndi Cookies {Krishna Wedding}

I shipped these colorful paisley shaped henna inspired cookies off to a wedding in california about a week ago. 

 

I loved the designs on the paisley shapes. I also tried a new sugar cookie recipe and love it! So nice to have two that I really like.

Fall Wedding Cookies

After hours and hours of decorating over the last few days.. okay, over the last week... I am finished with over 200 cookies for two different weddings. These are headed to NC for a fun fall reception with s'mores and hot chocolate bars. I made regular and dark chocolate cinnamon cookies (recipe coming soon!). 

Simple maple leaves,

SVU Homecoming Cookies

Sent these babies down to good ol' BV.. Sure miss that place and our days at Southern Virginia University. Doing these cookies brought the memories back.

Sangeet Henna Cookies

Sangeet is the celebration before a hindu wedding. 

There is music, dancing, food and a henna artist. So of course what better than henna cookies to go with??!

12 dozen, that is. It took a while. This picture is missing about 75 cookies. 

The details were so fun. 

For inspiration I looked at a lot of henna tattoos. 

One of my favorites was the Elephant.

I LOVED doing these cookies! They are now on their way to NYC.

Father's Day Cookies {Mr. Mom}

During May, I took a few summer classes while my husband watched the boys, did all the laundry, cooked and cleaned. So, it was only fitting that I make him these Mr. Mom cookies. 

The arm was my favorite.

My husband made a really good mother while I was in school (he can cook and bake like it's nobodies business). So here's to Tyler, Happy Father's Day! 

Pink Mustache Cookies

These favors were for my "sweet" friend Ashton's little girl. She turned two and the theme of her party was cookies, milk and mustaches. Cute, right?

The birthday girl got a special sparkly mustache cookies.

Vintage Aqua and Coral Thank You Cookies

I loved the way these cookies turned out. I am happy with everything accept for the actual "Thank You".. lettering is not my specialty. Most cookie decorators use a kopykake (It's like an overhead projector that you can put any image or word in and it projects it onto your cookie to trace.. I would love to get one of those! Some day.), but I do everything freehand and sometimes, it shows!

Little Girl Birthday Cookies

I made these for a best friend of mine who has done so much for me I can't even begin to explain. Her sweet little girl turned two. 

I've seen lots of ombre lately (hair, clothes, cakes..), so I decided to do ombre cookies! In pink of course. What little girl doesn't love pink?!
